Peachblossoms Kindergarten and Primary Open House 2026: Discovering a World of Learning

 

29 August 2026 — Peachblossoms School successfully held its Kindergarten and Primary Open House 2026, welcoming prospective students, parents, and visitors to experience the school's dynamic learning environment. 

The event was designed to introduce families to the educational programmes, learning experiences, student activities, and school environment offered by Peachblossoms Kindergarten and Primary. From student performances and presentations to interactive learning stations and a special parenting workshop, the Open House gave visitors the opportunity to discover how children learn, grow, create, and develop at Peachblossoms School. 

The event began with the opening of the school gates and competition registration, followed by a warm welcome for parents and visitors. 

Guests were welcomed to explore the Peachblossoms School environment and take part in a programme filled with performances, presentations, educational activities, and opportunities to learn more about the school's approach to education. 

The morning began with a welcoming video, followed by a special Primary Music Performance featuring Laskar Pelangi. The performance created an exciting and memorable opening to the event while showcasing the confidence and creativity of Peachblossoms students. 

One of the main sessions of the Open House was the presentation of the school's programme by the Primary Principal and Kindergarten Principal. 

Parents and prospective families were introduced to the educational journey available at Peachblossoms Kindergarten and Primary. The presentation highlighted the school's commitment to providing meaningful learning experiences that support children's academic development while also nurturing creativity, communication, confidence, collaboration, independence, and essential skills for the future. 

At Peachblossoms School, learning is designed to go beyond textbooks. Students are encouraged to become active participants in their own learning, explore their interests, develop their talents, and build the confidence to express their ideas. 

The Open House also gave students the opportunity to share their learning experiences directly with visitors. 

A student testimonial from the Upper Primary level offered families valuable insight into what it means to learn and grow as a Peachblossoms student. 

The programme continued with an IPC Presentation, introducing visitors to the learning experiences and projects developed through the school's International Primary Curriculum. The presentation demonstrated how students are encouraged to explore meaningful topics, make connections between subjects, develop curiosity, and engage actively with their learning. 

Visitors also enjoyed an ICT Project Presentation, showcasing how technology is integrated into students' learning experiences. Through ICT projects, students are given opportunities to develop digital skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in using technology as a tool for learning and innovation. 

The Open House also featured a special Workshop presented by dr. Irene Purnama, M.Sc., Sp.A from Mayapada Hospital Jakarta Timur. 

With the topic “Future-Proofing Your Child's Health,” the workshop provided parents with an opportunity to gain valuable insights related to children's health and well-being. 

The session reflected the importance of supporting children's development in a holistic way. Education and well-being go hand in hand, and creating a strong foundation for children involves supporting both their learning journey and their overall growth. 

Creativity and imagination also took centre stage during the Open House through special Kindergarten Storytelling Performances. 

The performances combined storytelling, music, and drama, creating an engaging experience for the audience. These activities demonstrated how young learners can develop confidence, communication skills, creativity, and self-expression through enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences. 

At Peachblossoms Kindergarten, children are encouraged to learn through exploration, creativity, interaction, and play—helping them build a positive foundation for lifelong learning. 

Following the main programme, visitors were invited to join a School Tour led by the school's teachers. 

The tour provided families with the opportunity to explore various areas of the school and experience several interactive learning stations, including:

From scientific exploration and technology to creative displays and storytelling, each station reflected the school's commitment to providing varied and engaging learning opportunities for students.
 
Visitors could experience firsthand how learning is made more meaningful through hands-on activities, exploration, creativity, and active participation.

Celebrating Achievement and Community
The Open House concluded with an award and winner announcement session, celebrating participants and adding an exciting conclusion to the day's activities.
The event brought together students, parents, teachers, prospective families, and members of the wider community in a shared celebration of learning and children's development.
